Overview

The Lady Cadet Course is the women's commission pathway into the Pakistan Army, open to female graduates in technical and professional fields including Engineering, Computer Sciences, IT, and other specializations announced per course.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Pakistani citizen (including AJK/GB); dual nationals must renounce foreign nationality
  • Must be unmarried
  • Age: Up to 28 years
  • Minimum 16 years of education (Bachelor's or Master's degree)
  • Fields: Software/Electrical/Biomedical Engineering, Computer Sciences, IT, etc. (per advertisement)
  • Minimum CGPA: 2.5/4.0 or 62.5% (annual system)
  • No 3rd division or Grade D throughout academic career
  • HEC/PEC-recognized degree only
  • Minimum height: 5'0" (152.4 cm)

Selection Process

Online Registration

Apply at joinpakarmy.gov.pk during the announced window.

Written / Intelligence Tests

Conducted at AS&RCs — verbal and non-verbal reasoning plus academic subjects.

Preliminary Medical Examination

Initial health and physical assessment at the AS&RC.

ISSB (4–5 Days)

Full ISSB assessment: psychological tests, group tasks, outdoor activities, and interview.

Final Medical Examination

Detailed medical at a Combined Military Hospital.

6

Final Selection (GHQ)

Merit list compiled by GHQ. Joining instructions issued to selected candidates.
